Algarve – Beaches

The Algarve has some of the best beaches in the world and is often named as one of the best beach destinations in Europe, having even received awards such as "Best Beach Destination in Europe" at the "World Travel Awards"

What makes the Algarve so special is the wide range of offerings, from cosy beaches only accessible by sea, to the large waterfronts that stretch for miles, with white sands and a crystal blue sea, as well as the magnificent Islands.

An excellent way to discover so many beaches in the Algarve is to embark on a boat trip, available from the Vilamoura, Faro, Albufeira, Alvor, Portimão, Ferragudo and Lagos marinas.

With so many beaches it can be difficult to choose a favorite, but we have prepared a list with some suggestions that we think exemplify some of the best beaches that the region has to offer along its coast with about 200 Kms!
